Fear not, do what you have to do!
Opening Prayer
Father, thank You for sending Jesus, Your one and only son, to save us. Allow us today to hear, learn, be grateful, and grow from the story where Jesus entered Jerusalem days before His crucifixion. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Devotion
“Unlike other kings, Jesus did not enter Jerusalem on a horse, but on a donkey! This fulfilled the Old Testament prophecy and demonstrated the gentleness of Jesus bringing salvation through the denying of Himself.
When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the first thing He did, unexpectantly, was to enter the temple. He was there to deal with those who were deceitful, exploiting, and disturbed the normal practices of the temple. He also conducted a great purge of the place and strongly rebuke those people. At the same time, He did not forget to take care of the sick and the needy. Jesus straightened things out and brought out the proper purpose of the temple, which was worship, prayer, learning God’s Word, and caring. These subversive actions of Jesus won the support of the people, though at the expense of offending the powerful leaders who allowed these exploitative activities; Jesus did what He had to do.
What is the purpose of Church today? Have we deviated from the original mission? How can we reflect and learn from Jesus’ actions?”
Intercessory Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, we have come to You for those who have not yet known Jesus, regardless of their nationality, race, skin color, religion, age or gender, and where they come from. We ask You to send the Holy Spirit to open their hearts, so that they can understand and accept the truth of the Gospel, and experience Your unlimited love and mercy. Lord, please satisfy the desires of people’s souls in the world, because You know the hearts and needs of people; please show Your path clearly in their lives. We also pray for pastors, preachers, missionaries, and everyone working for the sake of Your Gospel, to have Your wisdom and strength when spreading Your Good News. Please remove all obstacles, so that they can spread the Gospel freely and smoothly. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
